SIDE-SHOW

Spiegel im Spiegel

Illusions shattered by their reflection, unravelling the undisclosed and revealing what secretly happens.

Spiegel im Spiegel is the second part of Side-Shows Trilogy of the Imagery. Mirror reflections make us question the presented illusions. These mirrored images reveal the concealed and unfold the best kept secrets. The perspective of the spectator is framed by the mirror that challenges his or her perception. During the show the audience slowly regains the freedom of distinguishing its own viewpoint through the reflected images; Spiegel im Spiegel, above all, speaks of human vulnerability. Six artists introduce us into an animated universe that defy the perception of our reality in a performance that interlaces circus, dance, theater and plastic arts.
